DOV (Driving Our Village)

DOV is a movement that seeks to enhance and shift community culture by walking out the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child”. While the driving forces of DOV will undoubtedly grow over the years, DOV is currently being driven by ROK (Reaching Our Kids), IYCU (Independently You, Collectively Us), and BCC (Barstow Community College). These three providers serve ROK Scholars and their support networks (parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors) to foster a multi-generational community imbued with a sense of emotional intelligence, empathy, and belonging. With the help of DOV, these ROK Scholars are becoming passionate servants of their community who are committed to equity & inclusion for all.
